I provide Clinical and Counselling intervention and assessment to adults and adolescents (13+), couples, and families. Currently I am accepting individual clients only.
I help people deal with a wide variety of problems, including anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma-related issues, OCD, grief and loss, life transitions, gender identity issues, and relational difficulties. My approach is client-centred and strengths-focused. I am trained in Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), as well as Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
Most of my work takes place in my office, and I also provide teletherapy using doxy.me, a secure web-based platform, to clients located in Ontario. This conforms with the Ontario Psychological Association's Guidelines For Best Practices in the Provision of Telepsychology which you can read about here.
In addition to psychotherapy I conduct psycho-diagnostic assessment to aid people in clarifying the difficulties they face to guide clinical intervention.
There are services I cannot provide. For instance, I cannot conduct fit-for-duty assessments, forensic assessments, or provide expert witness services or custody/access work.
If you'd like to set up an initial appointment please email to set up a time that works for you. I have appointments available M-F 12-6.
